Happy Yorkshire day! 🎉
As Sandy is from Yorkshire it's only right to do a little appreciation post ... .
*Fun fact - When Sandy and I met, we had actually been speaking via text and the phone 6months prior to seeing each other in person. So when it came to our first phonecall, I'm not going to lie... I was quite shocked at how broad her accent was, and how she used many words that I had NEVER heard in my life! .
I mean phrases such as 'Ey up cocker' and 'Alreet duck' 😮😂 I mean, I wasn't sure if I was being insulted at this point or not?! 😂🙈 .
After moving about half an hour or so away from her hometown over 6 years ago, it's a shame she has lost most of her accent as I actually grew to love it! It still pops out every now and again though! 😁 .
Take me back to Amarillo... Take me back to the Texas panhandle... Where my heart will always call home... Where no one points out my country accent everywhere I go.. Where everyone knows a cold beer & a backroad can make ya forget all the bad shit... Those who have not seen a morning in the country just don’t know what a good morning is 🖤
